Hi everyone! As of yesterday, I'm once again a working girl. I am working in the main office of Two Men & A Truck doing all of their bookkeeping and payroll. I'm really enjoying it so far. Two days almost 10 hours and I'm exhausted. I'm really not used to being away from home. It's a part-time job so I won't be away from the kids too much, but the hours are a little longer while I'm training. But, so far so good!
I'm laughing because I'm making like I wasn't a working girl before yesterday. Four kids, one husband, and two dogs......yeah, I wasn't working! HA! Scott has been great. He's been here taking care of the kids while I work and then he'll work the days that I'm home. I did have to tell him that the laundry is OFF LIMITS! He doesn't comprehend that you can't throw EVERYTHING in the dryer. All of his cotton shirts would be about 8 inches above his waistband if he did the laundry, lol.
So, along with the job, it's life as usual around here. I'm almost done with my American Women History class. This is my last week and my big project is actually due tonight. I've been working on this thing for 8 weeks. A paper on Victoria Woodhull, the first woman to run for President. And she did it in 1872! She was also the first woman to speak in front of the House Judiciary Committee. She was also the first female stockbroker on Wall St.
Anyhow, I don't want to bore you with that. It's been my life for the last 8 weeks for every spare moment I have once the kids are in bed.
Right now, as I write, I'm on hold with AT&T. I'm waiting for tech support because my email isn't working. I didn't know until Alice called and said her emails were returned to her. So, if anyone has sent me an email today and it got returned, please resend it tomorrow because I didn't get it. Let's see, I've been on hold for......22 minutes and 32 seconds. Hmmmm! What a waste of time. It really irritates me that a business can place you on hold for so long and then expect you to be Mrs. Niceguy! I'll be ripping someone a new ass if they ever answer the phone.
Well, I have a few odds and ends to write about but I'll save it for another day. I have to finish this damn report for class. Sami is in bed, Scott and John are on a walk, Jason is downstairs and Jourdan is hanging out in the garden picking greenbeans. So, while I have a quiet minute I'll do some homework.
PS. John learned how to ride his bike today without training wheels. And, his knees are blood free.
