HI Everyone!
Been away a while, life has been crazy! I have the typical woes that a mom with four kids has in the winter. One sick kid after another......it's my life story. Add that to laundry and cleaning up after four kids and a dog, it's no wonder I don't have time to write on my blog every day.
Well, here it is the second week of February. In a couple of short months it'll be spring again. I can't believe how fast 2009 went. Does anyone else feel that way? It seems like just last week I was saying to myself, "Thank goodness Jason is only a freshman...I still have four years before I have to worry about him going off to college...and worse yet, moving out."
Well, now that time is looming close. In May Jason will graduate from LHS and I can't even believe how fast the time has gone. I know I've said this before, but my dad told me a long time ago, when Jason and Jourdan were little, to cherish the time because it goes by so fast. Well, he wasn't fibbing. The last four years have flown by. I mean, Sami is 2 1/2 already. And boy does she have personality.
So Scott and I have been working really hard on creating a budget this past month. Yeah, this is a good topic. It's our goal to have any credit card debt paid in one year. It'll take some sacrifice, but we'll get there. We are putting our tax returns to good use by paying down our debt and getting the kids some things they need. Oh, and a new pair of glasses for me. It's been four years, I think I deserve a new pair.
Since we visited Missoula last summer Scott has been going crazy about moving out to Montana. We've been looking at property to buy because that's where we want to retire. If we work on these things while we are young, we'll have alot of enjoyment when we are older. Of course, we'll still have young kids...lol! Oh well.
I'm feeling pretty good this week. I went through three really terrible weeks. OMG I was just a basket case. I don't know what the hell was wrong with me, but I couldn't stop crying for over 3 weeks.
Better topic: Snow day tomorrow??? The snow started this morning and the roads were very shitty on my way to work this morning. It's been snowing all day and it's still snowing like crazy right now. I have a feeling the kids won't be having school tomorrow. I filled up my truck just in case Scott needs to drive it to work. Thank goodness it's my day off, he'll need the four wheel drive to get to work. I have a 44.1 gallon tank and that is alot of weight in the ass end of that truck. It moves through the snow nicely.
Well, I've been wanting to make some comments about politics but it's late and I'm tired. I just fired off an email to my boss, just to reinforce what we talked about before I left today...that makes me feel better. Rob is a great guy and I appreciate working in the office for him. I would recommend anyone to Two Men And A Truck as an employer. Since they are a franchise they pretty much operate the same. And I love working there.
Goodnight all, sorry for the boring conversation. Maybe tomorrow we'll get into some politics. You gotta love that!
